Commercial Remodels

Most of our remodels happen in stores that never close. As a commercial remodel contractor we plan the work around your operating hours, your customers, and the parts of the building that have to keep running.

What it is

How a commercial remodel contractor keeps the doors open

A remodel in an active location is a logistics problem as much as a construction one. Dust, noise, utility shutdowns, and access all have to be managed around staff and customers, and the space has to be handed back clean and operational at the start of every business day.

We phase the scope so the location keeps trading, run the disruptive work in off-hours where it makes sense, and keep the finish quality consistent with the rest of your portfolio.

  • Phased scopes that keep the location operating
  • Night and weekend work where it protects trading hours
  • Interior and exterior updates, paint, and finish improvements
  • Kitchen, equipment, and MEP upgrades
  • Brand-standard finishes matched across sites

Our Process

How does a remodel run in a store that stays open?

  1. 01

    Walk the store

We walk the live space, confirm what can be touched during hours, and flag anything that has to happen after close.

  2. 02

    Phase the scope

The work is split into phases that keep the location trading and hand the space back usable each day.

  3. 03

    Execute in windows

Trades run in defined windows, including nights, with the operating areas protected and cleaned.

  4. 04

    Reopen clean

Punch list and closeout completed with the location fully operational and up to brand standard.

FAQ

Commercial Remodels: common questions

Can you remodel while we stay open?

Yes. That is the majority of our remodel work. The scope gets phased and the disruptive portions move to nights or off-hours so the location keeps trading.

Do you do night work?

Regularly, particularly in convenience stores and restaurants where daytime closure is not an option.

Can you match finishes across multiple locations?

Yes. Matching finish and brand standard across a portfolio is a core part of our rollout work: the same systems apply to individual remodels.

How do you handle inspections on an occupied building?

Inspections are scheduled into the phase plan so they do not interrupt trading, and we manage them through sign-off.
